Our first face-to-face monthly meeting since February 2020 saw a fantastic turnout for our ”Picnic in the Park” themed meeting which took place on 22nd July.
The weather was marvellous, the conversation flowed and the entertainment from the Folk, Blues and Beyond Group added to the wonderful atmosphere of the afternoon.
Below are some photos of the afternoon, along with photos showing just what a great u3a we are as members take part in the Extreme Groups activities such as Zipp e-scooter runs and paddleboarding at Watermead Lake, and the Walking Group’s first walk organised by new Group Leader Sylv Elliott.

More Groups starting up! Grub Club, Food Appreciation, Garden Visits, Walkers, Historic Buildings see more below.

The Grub Club’s first meeting back after restrictions being lifted is at the (newish) Wild Raven Farm Shop and Cafe in Rowsham for tea, cake and chat, taking place on this Friday 30th July at 2pm.
Please contact Annie Edwards on grubclub@wtu3a.org.uk if you would like to join in.
