WELCOME

Welcome to Weston Turville u3a. Whether you are already a member, or are looking to find out what we do we hope that you will find what you need here.

Our u3a was first formed in 2010 so we are still “finding our feet”. We hope that you will find us diverse and welcoming and that you will find something to interest you. We have a wide range of groups and activities. If you want to know more just take a look at the Activities Tab. The groups range in size from those that can comfortably be held in someone’s house (usually with tea and biscuits!) to the trips involving 50-60 members. By becoming involved with a particular group you will begin to make new and meaningful friendships. There is no limit on the number of groups to which you can belong, but active participation is usually required.

We hold a monthly meeting on the fourth Thursday afternoon of every month except December at the Rugby Club, Brook End, Weston Turville at 2.30pm. We usually have a guest speaker, coffee & catch up with friends, but from time to time we organise a purely social meeting with no speaker, such as a Bring & Buy Sale or a lunchtime barbeque. There’s a monthly e-mail newsletter (duplicated on this site) and on both there are reports about groups, trips and other future events. If you are not on email we can arrange a paper copy for you.
