NEW – Thames Valley u3a Network Zoom events

Details have been now been published for the following events on the Thames Valley Network calendar:

15th April 10.30am on Zoom – The Death of Charles II: 1685 how modern medicine may have changed history.

Dr Jeffrey Aronson, will tell the history of Charles’ illnesses and discuss the reasons why modern medicine could have changed the course of history.

There is no fee for this event.  Full details of the event and how to book can be found on this flyer.  The closing date for applications is Thursday 8th April. 

20th April 10.30am on Zoom – Archaeological figures – myths and legends

Dr Jill Eyer will examine the stories behind two of the most important figures in our distant past, Boudicca – Warrior Queen or rebel and The Viking – raider or trader.

The cost for the talk is £2 per device.  Full details of the event and how to book can be found on this flyer.  The closing date for applications is Tuesday 13th April.
