Lindengate – Free drop-in sessions
Lindengate Mental Health Charity know it may be challenging to make time at the moment for yourself, from getting enough sleep, keeping stress levels down, eating well and exercising outside. Whilst they are currently unable to keep all their services open, in line with the Government Guidelines, they will remain open for free drop-in Rest & Reflect sessions. They are open to anyone who may be struggling with their wellbeing, or just want a safe space. Let their 5 acre therapeutic gardens and wildlife haven help you.
- Giving you time and space to “be” in a calm, safe environment, whilst relaxing in beautiful natural surroundings.
- Regular exercise has been proven to fight fatigue and boost energy levels, so wrap up warm and visit Lindengate.
- Why not bring someone from your household or support bubble, or meet a friend as part of your regular exercise routine.
- We have space for you to bring supervised children to come and learn about nature.
- There are also plenty of sheltered quiet areas for those seeking peace and a safe space.

Dacorum Berkhamsted u3a – Zoom talk
Dacorum – Berkhamsted u3a have invited WTu3a members to attend a Zoom talk on Monday 8th February.
Jackie Depelle will be talking on the subject of ‘Bridging the gap” which is about research more recent than the 1911 census.

Action Fraud – Covid Vaccination Scam
Action Fraud is raising awareness of another coronavirus vaccine scam, after it received a high volume of reports relating to a phishing email on Monday 25 January. The email, which attempts to trick people into handing over their bank details, was reported more than 1,000 times in 24 hours.
It appears to come from the NHS and asks the recipient to click on a link to accept or decline an invitation to receive the coronavirus vaccine. If they click accept, they are asked to input personal information and their bank card details. Remember: anything purporting to be from the NHS asking you to pay for the vaccine, or provide your bank account or card details, is a scam.
The national reporting centre for fraud and cyber crime has previously warned about coronavirus vaccine scams, with many people reporting receiving fake text messages purporting to be from the NHS. read more …
