u3a TVN Geology of the Thames Valley – Wednesday 18th and 25th November via Zoom
u3a Thames Valley Network are running a 2-part Study day entitled “Geology of the Thames Valley and why we don’t have volcanoes“. A virtual 2 day meeting using Zoom with Dr Jill Eyers. Dr Eyers studied geology achieving her doctorate in 1992. Since that time, she has lectured for several universities including Reading, Oxford and the Open University.

u3a TVN Portraits of Elizabeth – Wednesday 11th November at 2.30pm via Zoom
A talk on the Portraits of Elizabeth I will be given by Professor Susan Doran of Jesus College, Oxford. Please find attached the flyer and application form for this Thames Valley Network event which will take place, via Zoom, on Wednesday 11th November, at 2.30 p.m. Closing date for applications is Tuesday 3rd November.
