U3A TVN Understanding Architecture Study day -Thursday 24th and Friday 25th September 10.30am via Zoom
There are still a few places left at the ‘Understanding Architecture’ study day planned for next week by the Thames Valley U3A Network.
The aim of these days is to inform members how to “read” buildings, to understand what we are seeing and what it symbolises, also to provide a brief history of architectural progress from the 18th century to modern times. Please find attached an introduction letter from the Architecture day organiser, Margaret Sherrington (msherrington2@aol.com), as well as information on the study day and an application form. You can find more information on U3A TVN forthcoming events on their website.

U3A Creative-covid-collaboration

Collaborate, collaborate, collaborate!
The U3A wants to produce a national collage to celebrate the ways in which people have been using their craft activities to continue to connect, learn and support each other during lockdown. This is an opportunity for you and your U3A to be a part of a UK-wide collaboration showcasing the best of the U3A movement.
This may be in your current interest group or across interest groups and you may want to meet virtually to discuss your plans. The closing date is 30th November. Full details and instructions here.
