St James the Great, Bierton

The earliest parts of the church are thought to date back to the 14^th century and the main structure has changed little since then. In the 15^th and 16^th centuries the walls of the north and south aisles were raised  and extra windows added.  The present roof & stained glass windows are 19^th century.  The church has 7 bells, the oldest dating back to 1678.
