St James the Great, Bierton
The earliest parts of the church are thought to date back to the 14th century and the main structure has changed little since then. In the 15th and 16th centuries the walls of the north and south aisles were raised and extra windows added. The present roof & stained glass windows are 19th century. The church has 7 bells, the oldest dating back to 1678.
We will meet at the church at 2pm. For more details or you would like to arrange transport, contact Odette Harris at churches@wtu3a.org.uk.
