Singing for fun – Accompanist required

Chiltern U3A – Summer Jazzfest – 25th August 2019
The Chiltern U3A Jazz Appreciation Group are organising a Summer Jazzfest on Sunday 25th August 2019 and would welcome members from WTU3A. This is being held at Drake Hall, Amersham Community Centre, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham, HP6 5AH . The event is ticket entrance only, where there will be a licensed bar but no food will be served, so please bring your own. Download this flyer for your application form.
Extreme Visits – Curling – 10th October
We have been offered a Curling experience at the National Centre near Tunbridge Wells (don’t worry, not on skates) on Thursday 10th October.
They need a deposit with the booking so we’ll have to work the logistics out once we know numbers as we will be limited to 30 or 60 curlers. Price is £25.00. Some details are attached here.
WTU3A Newsletter – June 2019
The June newsletter is now available – take a look here. As mentioned in the newsletter the meeting on Thursday 27th June starts at 1.30 for us to have plenty of time to enjoy the hog roast. Although there is no speaker, the usual books, magazines and groups’ tables will be still there.
