Bring and Buy – 22nd November Meeting
Following on from the success of last year’s Bring and Buy, we are holding the event once again at our November general meeting.
We are kindly asking for donations of items which you may no longer need or want, that are in good, saleable condition. Items can include things such as: Bric-a-Brac, toiletries, gift sets, other unwanted presents etc. Please – no bulky items!
The proceeds of the Bring and Buy will be donated to Project Linus UK who donate quilts to sick children. Read more about the charity at http://projectlinusuk.org.uk.
Please bring your items along to the September and October meetings and give to any Committee Member.
Also – the Quilting Group will be holding a raffle and the 1st prize (along with other prizes!) will be a gorgeous quilt made by the group leader Maureen Reeves.

Our speaker for the next meeting on the 27th September is William French aka “William the Butler” who will be talking about his career path which took him from the Royal Navy serving on HMS Britannia, via the Falklands war to a 25 year career travelling the world.

The 2018 Christmas lunch is taking place on Friday 14th December at The Oxfordshire Golf Club at Milton Common near Thame. Full details are here.

Food Appreciation – Lucca in Wendover – 18th September
Our September lunch offer is at Lucca Restaurant in Wendover.
