TVN Workshop for Convenors – 27th November
“How to be a happy and successful Convenor” 😀.
A Thames Valley Network U3A Workshop on Tuesday, 27th November 2018 from 10.30am – 3.30pm at Benson Parish Hall, Benson, Oxon OX10 6LZ. Coffee is served from 10.00am.
This workshop is a ‘must’ for all Group Co-ordinators and Group Leaders, and details can be found here. However, this is a popular workshop and you will need to email chairman@u3atvnetwork.org.uk to see if there is still availability.

Marcia Watson, our speaker for our 25th October meeting, who came to talk to us about Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), asked us to pass on her heartfelt thanks to all our lovely members who left money in the GOSH tin. This came to an incredible……£165. 51!
Marcia undertook her nursing training at the hospital and gave an inspiring talk about the history and ground-breaking work of GSOH. read more …

Brandenburg Christmas Concert – 12 December
Please find attached a flyer for a traditional Christmas Concert with the Brandenburg Singers from The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London taking place in London on 12 December courtesy of the Thames Valley Network (TVN).
As a member of TVN, WTU3A members are eligible to attend. You just need to complete the application form and send off with a cheque for £19.50 per person.
