Garden Visits – Old Church Cottage, Long Marston – 16th February
17 November, 2018
Our first garden visit in 2019 is to Old Church Cottage, an NGS garden in Long Marston.Church Cottage is a 400 year-old thatched cottage. The garden has many species and varieties of snowdrops, cyclamen, crocuses, irises and other spring bulbs. Adjoining the cottage is a disused churchyard with ancient yews, and a Norman tower being the remnant of a Chapel of Ease.
Garden featured in The English Garden 2018 and in Garden Answers.
