Garden Visit Update – 16th July – 1 place available
Old Camps, Thatcham – 1 place is still available for the garden visit to Old Camps Garden (NGS), Thatcham in Hampshire on 16th July. Please book as soon as possible!
Cost: £27.50 including Coach, tea/coffee and cake. Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
The garden at Old Camps is situated on the site of a Roman encampment, purposefully selected for its position on higher ground and its proximity to Roman Winchester (Venta Belgarum).
The gardens, as featured on Gardeners’ World in 2018, are set over 1.3 acres and take you on a journey to the four corners of the globe. On the way through, you’ll marvel at the formal, yet contemporary design of the gardens from garden designer Adam Vetere.
More reasons to visit Old Camps garden:
- traditional English herbaceous borders.
- desert prairie planting.
- knot garden, featuring bananas and cannas.
- Mediterranean terraces
