About The Conference – New legislation, welfare benefits and cuts to Local Authority budgets mean that support for Older People is going through a period of great change.

Timely access to good information is vital to ensuring that Older People can adapt to changes, make informed decisions and empower their choices.

Come find out about the What, When, Where, Who, Why and How on the routes to information for over 50’s.

The Bucks 50 Plus Forum Conference for 2013 is being held on the National Older People’s Day. It is aimed at members of Older People is aimed at members of Older Peopleis aimed at members of Older People is aimed at members of Older People is aimed at members of Older People’s Groups across the county who can then share with their groups and network what they have learnt from the conference.

We want to make sure that the conferenceis available to 1 or 2 representatives from as many older people’s groups as possible.

Places are limited to 120 delegates so book early to ensure your group doesn’t miss out.

10.10am Four speakers will provide a range of information about about new services changes within health and social care.
11.10am  Coffee

 Small groups will each each discuss one topic on how to access information in the most effective way. The topics are:

Transport ,
Staying Healthy, 
Legal and Financial issues,
Help at home and
Care Support.

12.15pm Summing Up and Next Steps
