National u3a Newsletter – June 2023

3 July, 2023

The u3a National newsletter for June is available HERE.  As usual there is plenty to read, take part in and enjoy. Including:

Write a letter to your younger self

A new learning initiative asking members to write a letter to their younger self. It’s an opportunity for members to reflect on their lives and think of wisdom or reassurance that they may have appreciated hearing.  The u3a would like to hear from as many members as possible. Find out more on the u3a learning pages. Or Submit your letter and share your story.

June’s u3a Radio Podcast – Episode 31 – Off the Wall, Poetry, Lyons Tea Houses

In the last episode before the team takes a summer break, hear about the u3a off the wall event; discover the history of J Lyons and Co, and hear some of the winning poems from the u3a poetry competition. Listen now. Members can also listen to the latest episode on our website, and all previous Podcasts on Apple, SpotifyGoogle Podcasts – and it is still available in captioned video form on YouTube
