Garden Visits update – Wednesday 17th April
Our next garden visit is to Chenies Manor House and Gardens on Wednesday April 17th.
The MacLeod Matthews bought a Tudor house (15th/16th century) and furnished it with a very Arts and Crafts style garden. It has a sunken garden, herbaceous borders, topiary, a fountain court and a physic garden. The ‘Sunday Times Maze’ was made in 1991 after a design competition.
We will meet at the Five Bells Car park at 1.10pm for car share and will leave promptly at 1.15pm to arrive at 1.50pm in time for the gardens opening at 2pm. Pay £6 on the day.
