Extreme Visits – Coracle Regatta – August 28th
This is not to watch, quaint though it might be. It’s not to learn, well not entirely. It’s to take part in a challenge between Weston Turville U3A and Bath U3A as a one hour event at the Ironbridge Coracle Trust’s annual Regatta on August 28th!
There will be instruction – all of 1 minute it is understood – so it should be quite a spectacle.
The price would be £20, £10 to the Trust plus £10 to a Cancer charity. read more …
Agatha Christie’s ‘Spider’s Web’
Some spaces remain available for a trip to see Agatha Christie’s ‘Spider’s Web’ at the world famous Mill at Sonning on Saturday 2nd September.
The trip will consist of coach transport, a meal at the Mill and the play in the delightful tiny theatre also in the Mill.
The cost will be £46.00 for the dinner and theatre and appx. £15.00 for the coach (depending on how many places are taken up).

Weston Turville U3A Computer Group – Change of Format
The Weston Turville U3A computer group which is run in conjunction with Aston Clinton and Wendover U3As is now closing in its current format.
This closure is due to members no longer needing our services as they now know what they are doing! The good news is that computer assistance will remain on an ‘as required’ basis.
If you need assistance with a particular issue contact your U3A rep for computers (for WTU3A me!) and I will get someone from the volunteer list to try and assist you.
You can email me in the normal manner or if really stuck, ring me….. please do not turn up at the Halton Village Hall because you will be lonely standing in the car park on your own.
