You will remember, that is those of you who attended this month’s general meeting, that the Historical Society Treasure Hunt can be carried out by non-society members but entries need to be completed by 7th September – the date of the Village Fete.
If you want to take part, download this PDF Clues & Entry Form and, having completed the hunt you can return it as shown or take it to the fete – probably earlier the better!

The Font of All Knowledge?
OK, she may not be the ‘font of all knowledge’ but Mandi certainly knows something about printing and that your choice of font of a particular size affects the amount of ink you use to quite an astonishing degree!
It appears that if you chose the font you use carefully you can make savings of up to 27% and, with the high price of ink that’s not to sniffed at for large print runs.
The list here shows the best to the worst in ink usage found in tests using a normal sized font (12pt) in each case. Thanks Mandi!
