A Taste of Suffolk – Wednesday 6th July

A chance to visit a part of the country, rich in history but sadly little known by most people.  To visit two very interesting places, Kentwall Hall, one of the finest Tudor moated houses in England with extensive, interesting gardens. Have a look at their website .

In the afternoon the trip moves on to Long Melford, one of the great ‘cloth’ towns which enabled it to build a lavish ‘wool’ church. The main street has an interesting collection of independant shops, galleries, antique shops, tea rooms etc so there will be plenty to see and do. Have a look at their website to find out more

The cost, including admission to Kentwell Hall is £37 pp.  Full details of this and other trips are on the website. To book or find out more contact Dan:  outings@avu3a.org.uk
