Garden Visit Update – 8th May – 1 place now available for Eythrope garden and Waddesdon Manor, including lunch – £40 (bring your NT card). Contact: gardens@wtu3a.org.uk
Old Camps, Thatcham – bookings are now also being taken for the garden visit to Old Camps Garden (NGS), Thatcham in Hampshire. Cost: £27.50 including tea/coffee and cake.
The garden at Old Camps is situated on the site of a Roman encampment, purposefully selected for its position on higher ground and its proximity to Roman Winchester (Venta Belgarum).
The gardens, as featured on Gardeners’ World in 2018, are set over 1.3 acres and take you on a journey to the four corners of the globe. On the way through, you’ll marvel at the formal, yet contemporary design of the gardens from garden designer Adam Vetere.
