Food Appreciation – 27th March

Our next Food Appreciation lunch will be at the Ellesborough Golf Club on Wednesday 27th March.
 
A first for us, it will be a 3 course Carvery including coffee & mint creams (see attached menu & details).
 
Please note if you decide to join us, we need you to let us know your choice just for the Starter & Dessert.

UPDATED: The speaker at the February meeting, Bernard Lockett, who gave us a most enjoyable talk about Gilbert & Sullivan has let us know that the G&S Festival shows will be taking place in Buxton (24-29 July) and Harrogate (7-18 August) this year. History on Film – Thames Valley Network Event Day – 28th May

Thames Valley Network U3A have announced an exciting new Events Day – ‘History on Film’ (Harlots or Heroines?), taking place on Tuesday 28th May.  This is in a superb venue where the seating and acoustics should be perfect for the event.

Garden Visit Update – Saturday 16th February

For those who have signed up to this garden visit – here is a reminder of the details:
 
Saturday February 16th.
Old Church Cottage, Chapel Lane, Long Marston, Tring HP23 4QT.
 
Meet at the Five Bells at 10.50am.  Leave at 11am.  Drivers needed.
Pay at garden £5.  Includes mulled wine and shortbread.
