Our first garden visit in 2019 is to Old Church Cottage, an NGS garden in Long Marston.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
\n
Church Cottage is a 400 year-old thatched cottage.<\/span>\u00a0The garden has many species and varieties of snowdrops, cyclamen, crocuses, irises and other spring bulbs. \u00a0<\/span>Adjoining the cottage is a disused churchyard with ancient yews, and a Norman tower being the remnant of a Chapel of Ease.<\/span><\/div>\n

Garden featured in The English Garden 2018 and in Garden Answers.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
The visit takes place on Saturday February 16th, 2019. \u00a0The g<\/span>arden opens at 11.30am. \u00a0Cost of garden entry, mulled wine and shortbread is \u00a0\u00a35.00.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
