A fascinating presentation by Air Commodore Mark Manwaring\u00a0<\/b>on how he built an aircraft in his Weston Turville garden shed with the aim of breaking the world speed record for circumnavigation of the Earth.<\/div>\n

This will take place in the Chapel hall at 2-00 pm and there will be a charge of \u00a33 with any surplus after the hall payment going to the RAFBF.\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Thursday, 5th March 2026<\/em>\u00a0–<\/strong> The National Space Museum, Leicester. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Cost is \u00a350 inc coach fare, entrance and Planetarium show. It’s also home to the UK’s largest planetarium\u00a0which offers stunning 360\u00b0 full dome experiences. This will be by coach for a full day trip. The cost of \u00a350 includes travel by coach, entry fees to the museum, together with entry to the Planetarium.<\/p>\n
