Thenford Arboretum and Gardens

The Garden Visits section trip to Thenford Arboretum and Gardens on the 4th June proved an outstanding success.
The arboretum, with its many features includes: medieval fish ponds; an eighteen century walled garden; sculpture garden, extensive ponds and lakes; a range of features introduced by Lord and Lady Heseltine and 3,500 different types of trees and shrubs planted over  64 acres.
The herbaceous borders were simply magnificent.
This visit proved to be one of our most popular so far with the afternoon enjoyed by all.
